Welcome to the Ferme Robert
” Traveling on foot in fine weather, in a beautiful country, without being in a hurry, and having as an end of my journey a pleasant object, these are all the ways of living the one that is most of my taste. “
Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Le Promeneur solitaire
Located in the Val-de-Travers, a green valley from the Canton de Neuchâtel, the Ferme Robert is a farm originally built in 1750 and located at 972m height. The Ferme Robert lies at the core of one of the most beautiful and imposing landscapes of the limestone Jura chain : the natural preserve and State Park of the Creux vu Van, established in 1876 and covering an area of 11km2. This typical Jura geological structure is formed by cliffs reaching 180m at their highest point and forming a U-shaped amphitheater facing the small canyon of the Areuse river.
